Dallis Wallace III

Dallis was born and raised in rural Charles City, Virginia. He graduated from Charles City High School in 2016. As a first-generation college student, Dallis earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2019 and his master’s degree in Urban Affairs in 2021 from Norfolk State University. Currently, Dallis is in his second year as a PhD student in the Sociology department at the University of Kentucky, where he also serves as a teaching assistant.

Dedicated to sociology, Dallis primarily focuses on researching systemic inequalities in contemporary entertainment. His current research delves into the evolution of digital discrimination and explores the potential impacts of race, gender, and sexual representation in modern forms of entertainment. Dallis aspires to become a tenured Sociology professor after completing the PhD program, aiming to continue educating and making significant contributions to the field of sociology.
