Biography
Dr. Brown received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Florida State University and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, for which he also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies. Before coming to the University of Kentucky, he taught at Florida State, Flagler College, and Loyola University Chicago.
Research
His research interests focus on the use of emotion in the framing of political issues, as well as the use of the internet to organize and mobilize social movement actors.
