Aaron Padgett
Lecturer
I teach a variety of undergraduate courses emphasizing global and transnational sociology, culture and identity, environmental justice, and place. I am motivated by collaborative and interdisciplinary research, mentoring undergraduates engaging in research and/or community action and social change, and developing pathways for service and experiential learning. I earned my PhD in Sociology with a graduate minor in International Development from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition to research and teaching, I have a background working in refugee resettlement and immigration services.
