The prize will be $100 plus a certificate and inscription of the recipient’s name on a plaque that is prominently displayed in the Department of Sociology.

Coleman Award For Outstanding Sociology Major

The A. Lee Coleman Award in Sociology is presented annually to an outstanding graduating undergraduate student. The prize is $100 and a certificate recognizing the recipient. Awards are made in May, but students who graduate the previous August or December are eligible, as are those who anticipate graduating in May.

Maamary Scholarship

Students may apply for scholarships of $500.00-$1,000.00 to be applied to travel costs, living expenses, and supplies needed to support the learning opportunity.
